CUSTOM RACKMOUNT CASE ATA COMPLIANCE:
| The outer wall of all STAR CASE rackmount cases is actually a combination of two different materials. First, we take smooth finish premium grade plywood sheets measuring 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, or 1/2 inch thickness (depending on case "type" you choose) and apply a proprietary stucco finish fiberglass material. This fiberglass finish (standard, no additional cost) forms the outer protective surface which protects against the day-to-day scrapes, dings and dents which occur when transporting your valuables. Together, these two materials form an incredibly tough case panel which will not separate due to intense heat or cold and resist fading due to the harsh affects of excessive exposure to direct sunlight. fiberglass surface demonstrates the excellent strength and
durability features not available with any other surface material.
STAR CASE does not use ABS plastic or other outer surface materials
known to be adversely affected by variations in temperature or
exposure to direct sunlight.
Remember, the ATA (Air Transport Association) is a guideline for rating the reusability of packaging. All Star Case rack cases with the exception of our Carry Star line meet or exceed the testing procedures called out by this specification (ATA Specification 300, Category I.)
